Aalberts integrated piping systems develops and manufactures an extensive portfolio of connections, valves, metal and plastic pipes and fixing technology to distribute and control water and gas. To contractors we offer a specified integrated optimised piping design. Our technologies enable the installer to work fast and reliable on a simplified and more efficient way. We do this for new build, renovation, repair and maintenance. The product portfolio is distributed with an excellent service through different channels: wholesale, retail, e-commerce.

your role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager to learn young professional that is just starting his or her career. You have strong affinity with digital marketing, website development, ecommerce, UX and/or data analytics who likes to help us bringing our global organisation to the next level of “Digital Maturity”.

Last year Aalberts integrated piping systems has advanced its journey for digitisation of its customer experience, sales and marketing. Now we have reached the phase that we need to develop and set up digital customer touchpoints and channels for its business globally. This includes further improvement of our websites, set up global digital marketing campaigns, manage social media accounts, develop digital content and apply marketing technology capabilities such as Tag Manager, marketing automation, eCRM and data analytics. You will do this in a small global team with the support of a digital agency.

In this starters role you will be trained on all basic aspects of digital marketing, digital advertising, content management systems, social media marketing, UX and analytics. Stakeholder management within the various worldwide business locations is an important part of the job and includes occasionally travel abroad

your responsibilities

Product ownership websites

  • content creation & content management
  • manage global CMS & support countries with CMS requests/ issues
  • international stakeholder management & central point of contact with development agency
  • website optimization, UX, CRO, issue detection (with agency)
  • project management (new) website deliveries


Global Campaign & Social Media Management

  • set up digital marketing campaigns in Google + Social Media together with local teams
  • optimize digital channel performance
  • set up eCRM campaigns and marketing automation journeys with local teams
  • design & create visuals/ videos for campaigns (with agency + local teams)
  • manage global social media accounts
  • create social media plan
  • create content/ posts for global accounts


Marketing Technology & Analytics

  • manage Google Tag Manager
  • set up marketing automation flows in CRM
  • set up dashboards and analyses in Google Analytics/ Data Studio


your profile

  • minimum HBO level education
  • willing to learn all ins and outs of Digital Marketing
  • fluent in English both in speaking and writing
  • easy with stakeholder management and good social skills
  • strong affinity with digital marketing, website development, UX and data analytics
  • strong affinity with social media
  • flexible & easily adapt to changes
  • structured way of working and organizing
  • willing to travel abroad
